The underwater world of Raja Ampat is world-renowned, especially for its diversity, abundance and health. At Boryomggung Homestay Raja Ampat we are right within this paradise with the luck of being further away from the crowded locations in Raja Ampat. Our homestay is the only listed member of the Raja Ampat Homestay Association in Batanta area that offers scuba diving.
We organize scuba diving and snorkelling trips on a long boat for our guests. We have some great, local dive sites around Birie and Batanta available and also go to farther top destinations like Kri and Mansuar.
And on top we have an excellent house reef with extraordinarily healthy corals, an abundant fish life, regular visiting dugongs and sometimes epaulette sharks (walking sharks). The house reef is accessible from our private beach.
Our dive guide Efraim has experience as dive guide on liveaboards in Raja Ampat. He is a certified rescue diver with more than 1000 dives and is happy to show you the colourful reefs, manta rays, sharks, turtles, mandarinfish, pygmy seahorses and much more.
Our diving prices might be slightly higher than the ones of other homestays in Raja Ampat because we do not have our own compressor. Our filling station for scuba tanks is 45 minutes away with the boat and filling and transport are costly. The following prices are per dive per person.
|Unguided Day Dive:||300,000 IDR|
|Guided Day Dive:||400,000 IDR|
|Guided Night Dive:||500,000 IDR|
All boat dives are with a guide and the price includes guide, scuba tank, weights, water, coffee/tea and snacks. For trips to farther dive sites we prepare the lunch in the morning and serve it on the boat. The following prices are per dive per person.
|Guided Day Dive:||400,000 IDR + boat transfer price|
|Guided Night Dive:||500,000 IDR + boat transfer price|

Scuba diving is great fun and we want you to enjoy all dives safely. Therefore we have some safety guidelines that apply to all diving activities:
- Every guest has to present a valid diving license before any scuba diving activities.
- Every diver should make sure to have diving insurance.
- Unguided dives on the house reef are only done in buddy teams (no solo diving).
- All boat dives and night dives are with a guide.
